Become a Homestay Family

General Requirements

• be able to provide a furnished private room with bed, desk, closet, dresser, window, sufficient heating and lighting.
• be able to provide meals according to the student program requirements
  • Regular Homestay - 3 meals per day
  • Half-Board Homestay - 2 meals per day: breakfast and dinner
  • Roomstay - no meals provided
• have time to spend with the students giving them the opportunity for conversation, warmth and hospitality in an English-only speaking environment (or French-only for French students in Montréal)
• be available to host a student during the summer
• live within 45 minutes from downtown by public transportation
