Marketing Coordinator- Russia and Pathway Programs, needed for a leading ESL school in Canada. The ideal candidate will be a bi-lingual (English and Russian), creative, analytical, and people-oriented team player with experience in marketing and navigating the private and public North American post-secondary system. The position requires excellent people skills and self management skills.
The job areas include, but are not limited to the following. The position reports to Director of Marketing.
- Research, analyze, evaluate, develop and manage ILSC's international marketing strategy
- Promote and market ILSC in the Russian Market
- Develop marketing projections and marketing cost analyses
- Manage ILSC's accounts with agents, schools, individuals, etc.
- Recruit new agents and strengthen relationships with existing agents
- Visit with and report on agents locally and/or abroad
- Receive feedback from agents, schools and individuals, and coordinate this input with appropriate school staff
- Participate in the development of new promotional materials
- Suggest new programs and courses in response to market needs
- Analyze, evaluate and upgrade the marketing database
- Evaluate, attend and report on appropriate education fairs local and/or abroad
- Create travel itineraries and travel budgets
- Coordinate and interface with other ILSC schools and departments
- Act as a bridge between cultures for Homestay, Coop, teachers, students and all other staff on cultural and individual matters.
- Act as a consultant for student needs: these include the implementation of ILSC’s policies and procedures, socio-cultural aid, problem-solving and first day orientation.
- Facilitate the orientation for new students
- Liaise with College and University institutions, all members of the ILSC marketing team and the Academic Preparation Program Director
- Promote growth of the program by planning and hosting information sessions, attending fairs and responding to questions from agents and students
