| 4-week TESOL TKT Certificate course now available in Montréal
We are very pleased to announce that there is a new 4-week TESOL TKT Certificate program available at ILSC- Montréal. The TESOL (Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages) TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Certificate program is a 4-week course that provides students with the fundamentals of TESOL methodology, as well as focusing on presenting and giving instructions, and improving their confidence. This program thoroughly prepares students for the internationally-recognized Cambridge TKT, and includes an option to take the TKT exams during the course. The strength of the program lies in its high-quality theory preparation, its condensed format that focuses on the Communicative method of language teaching, and the fact that students get multiple opportunities to present and peer-teach, as well as observe a real class. Students will also be encouraged to develop their own teaching portfolio to begin their journey of teaching excellence. Applicants need to demonstrate at least a High Intermediate level of English (ILSC’s Intermediate 3), and pass an oral interview to be accepted on the course.
